The word get has many meanings.

Use get to mean buy.
getにはbuyの意味があります。 -

You can also use get to mean receive.
getにはreceiveの意味もあります。 -

Do you know the difference between a sunburn and a suntan? A sunburn means that your skin is red and painful. A suntan means that your skin is darker than before.
