Yesterday was one of the most exciting days of my life! After being in a relationship for four years, Jared and I decided to tie the knot.

We were having dinner together at our favorite restaurant. Suddenly, the band started playing our favorite song, and Jared got up on the stage and sang to me. When the song ended, he asked me to join him on stage. I noticed that a lot of my friends and family were at the restaurant too, and I was really confused at first. That’s when he got down on one knee and popped the question! I was so surprised! Of course I said yes because I knew he was the one! I’m so happy. 🙂 <3

Congratulations! Are you guys planning to have a big wedding?

Gracie Puff:

Thank you, @Ron! Yes, we are! I hope all of our friends—even those overseas—can come back to Canada for the wedding. 🙂

Today's Expressions

  • the one
  • pop the question
  • tie the knot

Last weekend, Jerry (my boyfriend) and I went on a day cruise with some of our closest friends. We were celebrating our 6th anniversary.

We went inside the cabin for lunch. I thought we were just going to have a normal meal, but when we got there, the walls were decorated with pictures of me and Jerry. Our friends all yelled, “Happy anniversary!” and Jerry gave me a bouquet.

And guess what happened next! When we went back to the deck, Jerry suddenly got down on one knee and popped the question! I started crying and said yes. I always knew he was the one!

So, my dear fans, Jerry and I are finally going to tie the knot! It’s not definite, but I like the idea of a fall wedding. Stay tuned for more updates!
